The first point is I already set the vendor for Teh Buttonz freebie at the main shop, inside of the lab; I’ll wait a bit to see how it goes and then put it in SL Ex and OnRez tonight, too. Here you can see how the Pandora looks with a pack of four buttons (you can add as many as you want, it is simple to edit the button scripts to make them work as you want).
I had to remove the lock function, since I discovered it will work only from an attachment (had the first hint when the button rotated 90 degrees :-p), so now the basick packgage has the following items:
- Hider: Put it inside a prim to make it appear/dissapear with a given command. The first button is configured to act as a hide controller.
-ZHAO II module: The ZHAO II AO, slightly modified to accept lower-case commands and to be able to act as a Pandora module. The second button activates/deactivates it, but to make it load the notecard you will need to add options to your Pandora **config notecard or use the Chat relay (explained below).
- Menu shortcuts: Now you can play any animation set from a Buttonz, and you dont even have to define a button or a relay for it on the **config notecard.
- Anim blocker: The fourth button activates/deactivates the anim blocker inside of the Pandora Hud Classic. I’ve added a moddable version so you can reemplace it if you want to choose your own freeze/defreeze animations.
- Chat relay: It lets you to use voice commands, that will be relayed as menu commands. For example, you can use it to execute the internal ZHAO commands, or to avoid installing Teh Buttonz at all without losing the new features.
Another thingie… we are going to give a warming party at The Hangout (this sunday 12 at 3PM SLT). Even if by now it is only a lot of stones with some places to sit and some boards games (chess and reversi :-p)…. please, come and have a look at the stones .-)
Well, only five more days to end working and get my summer holidays. Even if we don’t plan to go anywhere, that means spending all the time at home; lovely, noisy, chaotic home… no more free time until the night comes :-p.
Until now I’ve been scratching time at work for the blog and posting comments, but I am afraid now I’ll be very limited… I’ll keep posting, but not daily. The shop, the park and my SL family (not necesarily in that order) will take most of my free night time.
The more juicy posts will have another added problem; I feel like I’ve said all that I wanted to, and since I am going to take my SL life easy there will be less new things to tell about. Yes, I could stretch myself trying to find something new, but that whould spoil all the fun. I write because I feel like it, not because I should keep you interested :-p.
So, this isn’t a goodbye, only a “I’ll be busy as hell the next weeks :-p”. Expect a lot of Pandora’s promotion, some tutorials, and remarks about other bloggers post… maybe some intimate thoughts, but only if something special happens that brings them on.
Sigh… who am I trying to deceive? Ten to one that there is a new “Love and sex” or “Fucked it up” series in less than a week :-p
London dear! It was *so* wonderful to have our families together last night – I’ll bring everyone by on Sunday to return the favor!
I’ve got schedule changes coming up as well, which I’m kind of dreading. But, as I was just telling Vidal, who’s facing the same issues – we’ll get through. We’ll make our families a priority of our SL time, we’ll find some way to get our work done, and we’ll carry on.
And, I’m glad you ended your post the way you did! As I was reading it, I was thinking, “Oh, no – this is tempting fate! London’s going to find herself in a big adventure before lunch time!” :)

I’m happy I can fly in Pandora’s Peace now, it is a little difficult to get around without flight if one is playing as a mermaid :)

And Lavender, it is possible we will need to block flying again when we put the skybox but, anyway, you can simply walk to a neiborhood parcel (since Peace has a “C” form, it is easy) and start flying there… then you can enter back into the no fly area and keep flying .-p.
