SL has a knack to keep me busy while logged off: writing e-mails, answering instant messages, or simply musing about what will happen, what happened, or what could had happened.
It is good to get a bit of RL work done, now things are quieter at SL and I have managed to focus, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have a bit of fun from time to time; it was time to write a new post about my new skin, even if I bought it almost a month ago :-)
My shape is a bit flat in the ass department and I tend to have problems with the shadowing, until I saw a post about some skins from Laqroki. Went there, tried the demos and yes! The ass looked delicious! Sadly my face didn’t look like “me”, so I tried more and more demos, until I found the one called Kat, that suited me like a glove *winks*.
Once i decided I was going to show my ass around, I needed a skimpy outfit to take the pics. Checking some swimsuits, I found ::: B@R ::: Oni Swimwear, that a) showed nicely what I wanted to show and b) let me keep some stripes while wearing a human skin.
Once I started with the stripes, it was only matter of wearing one of the nice freebie hats from Tesla (the vendors where at the second floor and had prices, but there was a big “Free” box over them, so I tried and yes, they where free), throw my new Bob IV hair from Detour to the lot and I was clothed for a trip to Africa’s sim.
Ok, mostly clothed :-p
Did you notice the cleavage at the previous picture? Laqroki sells a “cleavage upgrade” for most of their skins, and I thought it would be fun to try it. And even if I like more the natural look without the upgrade (below, at the right), I must admit it goes wonderfully with some outfits, if you don’t mind losing a layer to wear it.
Sadly, nothing is perfect. In this case the feet fingers are the problem, since they are very detailed… but look ugly with size zero feet, which most of us have to be able our elegant, expensive shoes. But if you don’t mind this, go and have a look at Laqroki’s demos, it is worth the effort.
Oh, I almost forgot it. The skins come in two options, one bald, and one with black hair; the black hair option can be combined with some hairs at Laqroki to get an interesting disheveled look that can’t be obtained with standard prim hair.
