Believe me, the lingerie you see below (from Sand Dollar Sea, whose shop is by now settled at Pandora’s Peace) has to do with the tagged post.
There are more variants, all of them great and sooo inexpensive; also, I am sure it will suit you wonderfully (ok, giving it a second thought, not so much if you are a guy :-p); if you want them, simply follow the previous link. But if you are interested about why I linked it just now, keep reading :-)
Timothy Lilliehook has just tagged me into an evil version of the chain letters. If I want to play (and I’ve never been good at resisting dares), I have to reveal eight random facts about myself and tag eight more bloggers.
At first I choosed my usual victims, but after giving it some thought I opted for a more complex approach; nobody that where on my friend list, and relate them with my random facts (btw, that remembers me I should update my blogroll someday :-p).
So here they are, the tagged and the facts:
1- Ana Lutetia, tagged because I love profesionality. I like the quiet and serious way some people work; yes, I am in debt with her for taking the time to review my items, and the kindness she showed, but it is the quality of her blog what keeps me going back; fashion, and only fashion.
2- Wagner James Au because I am shameless. I think the possibility of getting a link for a so popular blog whould be great, if I manage to do it in a nice way so… err… James? *grins mischievously* Tag!
3- Pixel Bailey because I am an Asimov’s fan. Yes, her blog doesn’t have nothing to do with him (btw, thanks for the hint about Lover’s Paradise, Pixel :-) but her surname has (Elijah Bailey from Caves of Steel).
4- Jaime Wheeler because we I love my creations. You only have to read her editorials at her new magazine to understand what I am talking about; it isn’t about money, she gives her heart on it. My congratulations, Jaime :-).
5- Emily Orr because I am a fan of dark fantasy. I mean, Polansky’s Fearless Vampire killers? Yay! Btw, Emily, I’ve been reading your blog since long ago and never leaved a comment to say hello. I promise to behave better in the future :-p
6- Kit Meredith because I am absolutely friend oriented, and let them guide me. So when Soph told me to read her blog, I did, and loved it :-)
7- Branda Luna because I believe I am lucky. I feel that leaving some dire spots, my life is, and probably will keep being, charmed. For example, I found her wonderfull blog for sheer luck two days ago :-)
8- Lavender Lemington, because even if I usually have only one word, and try to keep it as much as I can, I also change my mind a lot when it seems logical. I mean, at first I told you I wasn’t going to add anybody on my friend list, and here she is. But I wanted to show you her new lingerie line, and this was the perfect excuse to link the feed to World of Fashion *grins evily*.
And here they are! Eight facts aren’t enough for a word pourer like I am, but eight good blogs are a good start for all us.
Hope you enjoy the game as I did (at least, I did after taking a mental note about skinning Tim :-p).
Oh, this is gonna be *tough*. I’m tempted to respond in kind, and pick no one on my friends list…but on the other hand, my friends list contains some very interesting folk….
Tagged, huh?
*plots*
Geesh, that was fast London… and I’m glad you safed that nice catdude ;-)
Yes, I’m glad, too ;)
Thanks for the fast and very interesting response. And thanks for spreading the challenge … even though I fear it will lead to me having way more people on my blog reading list afterwards!
Thanks for answering so quickly, Emily :-) I am really intrigued about the “plots” thing, it looks ominous *grins*.
Zippora, did I “safe” him? I only brushed some odd hairs. And Timothy, are you glad I “safed” you, too? Will somebody tell me what’s happening? :-p
Mission completed. Thank you for the compliment!
By the way, I’m Brandy Rasmuson, not Branda Luna. :D I hadn’t thought about the fact that my domain name could be a little confusing. It’s an old nickname, and I’ve had the domain just hanging around for years, so I thought I’d give it a purpose of sorts with my SL blog.
Whoops! I did it again :-p. Sorry, Brandy, I’ll remember for now on.
Thanks for playing and stopping to say hi :-)
I keep looking at that lingerie and wanting to buy it… I wonder if LL has put my money in my account yet…
I’m slightly glad no one tagged me though… If they had I may have been forced to update my blog… ;)
*jumps and hugs you!!!* It has been so long; I know you posted a pair of comments, but this is the first time I’ve readed them a little after you published them :-)
Hope your life is being less complex, and welcome, welcome back!
And to think, London, I was just beginning to _like_ you….
Just kidding, hon. Answers are here.
Thanks, Kit; I’ve always thought that I don’t need to keep my bad side from people even if they just knew me. It avoids asty surprises :-p
‘My Life’ & ‘less complex’ don’t tend to go hand in hand… I did however sum my last few months up on my blog (after properly cleaning up the dust of course)… ;)
Oh… & I did pick one of those outfits up… Haven’t had a chance to wear it though… ^_^
Wow… I didn’t notice I’d been tagged or blogged until a day or two ago! I’m sorry :/ I don’t mean to be rude or distant… RL is getting me lately. I’m almost done with grad school — where by almost I mean the graduation ceremony is in less than a week — and I’m job-hunting, too and so forth. Thank you for blogging my lingerie! :D I’d like to get back into making things… when I have time. ;) Glad to see you’re posting a bit again, too!
BTW, how does one put a cut in Blogger, so I don’t bore the Fashion Planet feed?
*Giggles* Your tagged again to dear London! Round two of the Meme game has started and I’m tagging you… So when you get a moment take a look at the rules and questions (which you can find at my blog) and give us some answers… ;)
Lavender, I think it isn’t possible to add a cut at blogger, up to what I know, it isn’t available as an option. And about the rest, pay us a visit and let me give you a hug :-)
Sorry it took me so much to answer, theshadow. I promise to do the second round soon but, since the only logic victim for me to tag, Timothy, is already taken, I doubt I’ll tag anybody else :-).
There’s no standard option for doing a “cut” on blogger, but it’s possible with some “hacks”, as you might have seen on my blog. But as that needs you to edit the template yourself, it’s not an easy thing to do and even harder to explain. So, I’ll leave that to the “Blogger Tips&Tricks Blog”, which gives you this and many other useful things for your blogger-based blog:
http://blogger-tricks.blogspot.com/2006/05/blogger-expandable-post-summary.html
And I’m looking forward to your “second round”, London, but you really don’t need to tag me, as I won’t do that meme (as I wrote on my blog). But thanks for considering me ;)
Thanks for the trick. I just saw some cuts made on Blogger, and I was going to try to find how they where doing; now I don’t have to, since you published it here :-)
Also, I am just writing the second round, and even knowing you aren’t going to do it, I’ll still tag you *grins*
